Christmas Baking

This year, I will not be doing my typical "hundreds of holiday cookies."
Instead, I am getting married.

I hope that is ok with everyone... because if it's not, I can send you some crappy store-bought cookies in a tin with a "Made from Scratch" sticker to make it look more authentic.

If it is ok with you, look forward to next year... when I shall resume the hundreds of holiday cookie making tradition. Oh, and cakes, too. :)

Maybe I will make a few cookies while I am in California...

Randomness at its Best

I have a wedding countdown on the fridge. I update it every morning when I get up. :)
TWENTY DAYS.

It's the first time in a WEEK that our high temperature has been above freezing. I actually walked outside today in a t-shirt to get the newspaper. It felt fabulous.

The boys, and Whitney, are over playing D&D tonight. I am making meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and apple cinnamon compote for dinner. I also made banana bread. It smells delicious.

The Winter Festive Tree is up and decorated. The icicle lights are actually up this year and some of my candles are on display. Oh, and there are actually a few presents under the tree, despite this horrible economy.

Heard some of the BEST NEWS EVER. from my friend and former co-worker, Kirksey, today. I gave him a high-five, it was THAT awesome. :)

Bridesmaids all have their dresses... Groomsmen all know where to reserve their kilts/accessories from... All is well on that front. FINALLY. I pick up my dress on FRIDAY. TWENTY DAYS.

Oh, 20 days, like a 20-sided dice. Wow.
I'm a geek after all.
