The Bathroom... Part 3

Not much happening in the bathroom this week, other than taking down the huge mirror, the medicine cabinet, the "cove base," and pulling out a few screws and drywall anchors. Nothing too exciting, but I did find several different colors of paint during this process!












Total colors found: Red, Beige, Yellow, and Blue... so that's four.

The mold that used to be under the toilet is gone, but it looks like there's mold on the drywall that's right next to the shower...

The shower floor/drain looks as though it has been there since the house was built... or at least since the 70's linoleum was put down.

The "cove base" around the bottom of the wall/top of the floor was also original and had been there since the linoleum had been put down.



This week's task: prep the walls for a latex-based primer that is mold and mildew resistant.
